Setting up a blog

If you are thinking of starting a blog then you must check out David Terrar's blog Business Two Zero.  David has put together a very helpful four part article titled "BTZ's insider's guide to Blogging".  There are so many tips and hints that I expect I will be going back to it for several months to come.  Thanks David.

Update 1 March 2006:  David has now added further information on RSS feeds.

Great to see you've got started Philip. Nice to see you having a crack at a community blog.
You're in my feed reader and I've created a 'tag' for 'blogging accountants' which should show up on Technorati.

Welcome to the blogosphere and thanks for the mention, and well done Den for creating the blogging accountants tag... we need more of them.

Interesting point David - The tagging thing is a very interesting topic. 'blogging_accountants' is just a way of discovering when you do a Technorati search but I can see a lot of value is developing what peoples call 'folksonomies' - personally I think it's a daft expression but the idea you can create, 'file' and view on say ehtics>KPMG (my current target)...has huge potential for firms to create powerful tagging systems that are both of general and in-house use.

...my spelling is terrible this evening...sorry

Hi
